My Pets (the “App”) is a pet care journal: it lets you keep pet profiles and track weight, vet visits, prescriptions, medications, and other events.
The App is developed by Tatiana Sugina (github.com/internetova) (the “Developer”).
This policy explains what data is processed when you use the App and what happens to it. The App follows the data-minimization principle: it requires no registration and never asks for your name, phone number, email address, or any other personal details.
All information in the App is created by you: pet profiles and names, photos, weight records, vet visits, prescriptions, medications, vaccinations and other events, as well as veterinary clinic and doctor details.
The App has no server of its own. All of the data listed above is stored only locally on your device and is never sent to the Developer or to any third party. The Developer has no access to this data and is technically unable to view, modify, or recover it.
To improve the App's stability, crash-reporting services are used: Firebase Crashlytics (Google) and AppMetrica (Yandex). When the App crashes or malfunctions, these services automatically collect technical details: the device model, operating system version, App version, and a crash log.
Diagnostic data never includes your pet records, photos, or any other information you enter into the App. Diagnostic data is processed under the rules of the respective services: the Firebase privacy policy and the Terms of Use of Yandex Metrica service and AppMetrica.
The App may request the following permissions:
Permissions are used only for the purposes stated above. Captured and selected images are saved locally on your device.
The App contains no ads, no advertising SDKs, and no behavioral tracking tools. The diagnostic services listed in section 3 may use technical device identifiers solely to group crash reports.
You can export your data as an archive using the built-in export feature. The archive is created only at your request, is saved to a location you choose, and remains entirely under your control. The Developer does not receive a copy of the archive.
The App's data is kept in its protected storage on your device. Its safety also depends on your device's own security settings (screen lock, encryption, system backups).
You can delete your data at any time: remove individual records inside the App or uninstall the App from your device. Since the Developer has no access to your data, no separate deletion request is needed.
The App does not collect personal data from anyone, including children, and contains no material requiring age restrictions.
The Developer may update this policy. The current revision is always published on this page with its revision number and date. Significant changes are additionally mentioned in the App's release notes.
Questions about this policy and problem reports are welcome in the Issues section of the App's repository.
